Q: How does the whole process work?

It's a very simple, 3-steps process:

  1. You send us your tax information (W-2 form, etc) using fax, email or phone.
    We will guide you step-by-step through the process of what information to send, and how to send it.

  2. We start working on your tax return, and within 72 hours, we will email you the completed tax return in a printable  format.

  3. You pay us only after you have received the completed tax return.
    The average tax return fee is $95, and you can make the payment online, using your credit card.

Our fee includes the federal return and one state return, with e-file.

Q: How can I send my tax information?

  1. Fax - faxing your tax papers might be the most efficient way. Even if you don't have a fax machine, you can fax your tax papers from any copy-center.
    Many convenience stores have fax machines, too.

  2. Digital Camera:  take a picture of the tax form with your digital camera.
    Make sure the tax form fills in the whole picture area in the camera's viewer. Have one form only in each picture. Email us the pictures as attachment.

  3. Scanner: scan the document into your computer, and email us the file as attachment.

  4. Type-in:  on the next page, a few tax forms will be listed. Click on the form(s) you received, and  a short fill-in version of the form will open up. You can type in your numbers in a few minutes, and email us the form as attachment.

  5. Phone: call us, and we will gladly take your tax information over the phone.

Q: What tax information do I need to send?

  1. Your personal information. (Name, address, marital status, etc.)

  2. Your income. (W-2 form, interest earned, self-employed income, etc.)

  3. Your expenses. (Mortgage interest paid, charity, business expenses, etc.)

On the next page you will see a folder with three tabs labeled "Personal Info", "Income", and "Deductions". Click on those tabs, and we will guide you through each category. The whole process takes a few minutes only.

Q: How much?   What are your fees?

Standard tax return: $75.   (No business/self-employed or rental income)

With business/self-employed OR rental income: $95

With business/self-employed AND rental income: $110

If filing for previous years (back taxes), additional $20 applies for each year.

Our fee includes the federal return and one state return, with e-file.

Each additional state return is $20.

  • The fees might be somewhat higher than the ones quoted above if your tax return involves very complex  issues (complicated capital gain or depreciation issues, etc). If that's the case, we will let you know in advance.

  • You pay us only after you have received the completed tax returns.
    We accept credit card payments on our web site.

Q: Can I file for previous tax years?

Yes, we can prepare your tax return for any year back to 1997.

  • If you cannot find your old tax papers, we can get your complete record from the IRS, free of charge.

  • We can help you to recover unclaimed tax refund for the past 3 years.

  • We can help you to set up a payment plan with the IRS or state tax authorities if you are unable to pay all back taxes owed.

Our fee is $95 for each previous year you have to file.

The fee might be somewhat higher in very complicated cases, see the "How much?" question for details.

Q: What is your "Do-It-Yourself" service?

If you have a very simple tax return to file, you might want to do it yourself, using our online tax software.

The program is easy to use, it leads you through the tax filing process step-by-step, in a simple Question & Answer interview format.  You will get full tax help and technical support to assist you.  E-file included, no extra charge.

The fee for a federal tax return is $24.95, and for a state tax return is only $12.95. You pay only after completing your tax return.
